Big Bear Alpine Zoo

This is a rehabilitation center for injured wild animals but visitors are welcome! They've been "saving wildlife since 1959" as well as offering a home to orphaned or abandoned animals. Still 90% of the animals the zoo treats are released back into the wild. See this sanctuary to support their efforts; your entry fee is going to a great cause. Who can argue with that?
