Description:

Surfers, snorkelers, and scuba divers love this part of the California coast. While it's not the best place for sunbathing, it's perfect for hiking. The trail descends from the bluff and ends at Bluff Cove Beach. Nature enthusiasts will love the tide pools that hold a variety of marine life until the tide washes them out to sea again. The overlook provides great views and photo opps of Bluff Cove and the coastal area of Santa Monica Bay. Enjoy birdwatching! Waterfowl such as willets, godwits, and plovers spend their winters here.
