Description:
An out-of-commission Navy Cougar jet sits grounded in the midst of ball fields and a playground. In 1959 the City of Anaheim paid a grand total of $250 (around $2,250 today) to transport it via rail from Arizona. To get there, take I-5 to W. Ball Rd. and go east. Turn left on S. State College Blvd. You'll see the park a short distance ahead on your left-hand side. Boysen Park is open 24/7. (Submitted by Brenda Rios)
