This versatile trail can be hiked or biked - whichever you fancy. It's a favorite among trail enthusiasts because it provides plenty of shade even on hot summer days. The name belies the actual green beauty of the surroundings. The dam is also one of the few hikes in California which has flowing water year-round except during severe droughts.
