Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

Though donations are welcome (and encouraged!) this aquarium in San Pedro is free to the public. Considering that, it’s well worth a visit, especially if you’ve got little ones as there are plenty of interactive learning exhibits and marine-themed arts and crafts activities. Plus, the building was designed by none other than Frank Gehry.
