Description:
Built in 1951, this petite abode was built by Walter Knott while he was restoring the Calico Ghost Town for tourists. Amazingly, it is not the earliest example of bottle houses - this phenomenon started at the start of the 20th century (yup, bottle houses were a thing). Now it is one of the best dog-friendly attractions. It is, in fact, called Dorsey's Dog House, and they sell fresh baked goodies for your canine buddy. If you do bring your dog, don't forget to pack your dog shoes - the hot ground will burn their paws! (Submitted by Araz Berberian)
