Referred to as CALM, this zoo specializes in plants and animals native to California. This is a sanctuary for orphaned and injured animals as well as a center for educating the public about wildlife conservation. Established in 1982 the 14-acre park houses about 80 species of animals that are unable to be released into the wild. Admission is up to $10 per person (based on age) but check the website at calmzoo.org for updated details on operating hours. (Photo by Eric Bristol)
