A huge boulder can be found on a short trail that meanders through Joshua and juniper trees. It's a great place to take the entire family - kids love climbing the smooth boulders. The best time to go is in the spring when the desert wildflowers are in full bloom. The half-mile trail is open 24/7. To get there, take Route 62 to Park Blvd. and turn south. Follow it for about 15 miles and then make a right on Keys View Rd. The parking lot will be a short distance on the left-hand side. Lat/Long: 33.989936, -116.164048
