Description:

This garden was established in 2006 as a 50-year anniversary gift to the community. Placed around the garden are modern sculptures but the major work of art was created by Kathleen Caricof. Her sculpture is a memorial to a tragic event on August 31, 1986 when a commercial plane collided with a 2-seater aircraft in crowded airspace. The 82 deaths included people on both crafts as well as people on the ground. The garden is an ever-changing landscape with works of art continuously being commissioned.
