Description:
One of the best known and most cherished icons of Highland Park is portrayed in a series of sidewalk mosaics on Figueroa Street. The original Chicken Boy used to live on the roof of a fried chicken establishment on Broadway in DTLA. He was saved from a warehouse in 2007 and brought to his current home on top of La Fuente #6. Other mosaics on Figueroa street depict the history of Highland Park as well as other beloved landmarks.
