Clairmont Lavender Farm

Fields of fragrant blossoms are harvested to make handmade lotions and soaps, all of which are available in the reasonably priced gift shop. Both Provence and Grosso varieties are grown here as well as olive trees planted by Spanish missionaries over 175 years ago. A traditional, low-heat distillation process in copper vats ensures a highly concentrated oil that retains its properties. There are picnic tables on the grounds, so pack a lunch and make this farm your home for a few hours.
