Description:
The Conquistador's Helmet sculpture, crafted by artist John Augsberger, is a stylized representation of a morion (pronounced "mohr-ee-on"), the Spanish conquistador's helmet. This iconic sculpture has served as Cupertino's symbol since the 1970s and can be discovered at the corner of Torre and Rodrigues avenues on the grounds of Cupertino City Hall.
