Description:
The Crane Flat Fire Lookout in Yosemite National Park was built in 1931. It's a two-story structure with a lower storage level and an upper observation level. It follows the National Park Service Rustic style and is one of only four similar structures in California. The lookout was in use until the 1980s. To get to the Lookout, take the Crane Flat Fire Rd for 1.5 miles. This route is generally considered easy, typically taking around 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete.
