Description:

This park was inspired by Hank Ketcham, creator of the Dennis the Menace comic strip. The playground is a favorite among small children and parents because there are enough activity areas to keep kids busy for hours. There are three giant slides, a climbing wall for rock climbers-to-be, a suspension bridge, a hedge maze with a play structure in the center, a vast adventure ship, and more. The authentic Southern Pacific steam engine at the playground is also a favorite. The playground is located on Pearl Street which runs through the center of El Estero Park.
