Devil's Gate

Who knew that the "Portal to Hell" was located in the same city as the Rose Bowl? Even the most die-hard skeptic will want to take along a burly friend on this hike through the Arroyo Seco to the dam's concrete passages. While lovely in the day, the canyons and stark scenery become creepy in the twilight. It's probably a place built more on urban myth than anything else but you still don't want to be caught here after the sun sets! (Photo by Ginger Black)
