Dogtown Coffee

This historic building in Santa Monica was once the home of Jeff Ho Surfboards and Zephyr Productions, widely known as the birthplace of modern skateboarding. The landmark spot was nearly torn down by a condo developer in 2007, but thanks to public outcry, the building has been preserved as a historical landmark. Today, Dogtown Coffee occupies the space preserving a key piece of American skateboard and surfing history.
