Description:
The Domelands Trail is an 11.4-mile loop in Anza Borrego State Park, offering a rewarding but challenging hike due to its tricky navigation—downloading a map beforehand is highly recommended. Bring plenty of water, as the trail is largely exposed to the sun, and plan your visit between November and April for the best experience. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas. The check-in point is at the dirt road turnoff from Sweeny Pass Rd, but if you have a high-clearance, four-wheel-drive vehicle, you can drive this section to park closer to the trailhead.
