Dorothea Puente's House

This charming abode certainly doesn't look like it housed a serial killer. Yet, Dorothea Puente, who was charged with 9 murders and convicted of 3, carried out her deadly activities here. Allegedly, this is where she murdered and buried her boarders. While the house is not open to the public, the owners sometimes give tours. You can learn more about Dorothea's crimes in the Netflix documentary "Worst Roommate Ever."
