Description:
When visiting El Matador State Beach, you're likely to encounter a bunch of interesting nooks, crannies, and rock formations along the coast, but the sea cave at the northern end of the beach is the showstopper and a must-see. To get to the cave, park at the lot just off Pacific Coast Highway. After paying the small parking fee, head down the path to the beach. Once you reach the beach, make a right and follow the beach till you hit a rock formation blocking your path. Walk between the rocks and continue along the beach. The cave system is located at the northern most part of El Matador Beach and only accessible during low tide. Be ready to get your feet wet!
