Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve

The reserve covers over 750 acres of land and features a variety of natural habitats, including chaparral, riparian, and oak woodland ecosystems. Visitors to the reserve can explore miles of hiking and biking trails that wind through these diverse landscapes, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. One of the highlights of the reserve is the scenic Lake Hodges Overlook, which offers panoramic views of the lake and surrounding area. Another popular feature is the Way Up Trail, a steep hike that leads to a lookout point with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean on clear days.
