Escondido Public Library Mural

Local artist Julia Anthony completed a sprawling and colorful mural called "Escondido's Vision," commissioned by the Escondido Public Library Foundation in May. The mural, displayed on the west exterior wall of the city's Public Library on Kalmia Street, portrays a young girl immersed in reading amidst Escondido's natural beauty, surrounded by native flora and fauna with picturesque hills and vineyards in the background. Adding historical charm, the artwork includes an image of the historic Escondido Library from the 1890s.
