As an organization approved by the US Department of Navy and Air Force as well as the state of California to receive surplus military aircraft and other government properties, the Estrella Warbird Museum houses an impressive collection of vehicles and memorabilia, ranging from antique ambulances to fighter jets that have only recently been retired from active duty. Unlike other aircraft museums, however, the Estrella Warbird does not aim to glorify conflict, but rather to make future generations aware of the fact that our way of life does not come without sacrifice.
