Description:
The ruins of a small stone building are located on Lake Tahoe's only island located in Emerald Bay. The island is only accessible by watercraft. Once you reach the island you can hike up to the top of the hill to explore the ruins. The Tea House was built by Lora Josephine Knight, the owner of Vikingsholm, a 1929 mansion located in South Lake Tahoe.
