Description:

Constructed in 1928, the Farnham Park Fountain predates the establishment of the adjacent Malaga Cove Library by two years. It stands as the only landscaped park within Palos Verdes Estates, boasting the city's oldest fountain. The renowned Olmsted Brothers, commissioned by the Palos Verdes Project, were responsible for crafting both the park and its distinctive water feature. Farnham Martin, the park's namesake, had been associated with the Olmsted firm since 1908 and served as the first superintendent of parks in the Palos Verdes Homes Association.
