Description:
Two houses and a very old fig tree are a few of the highlights at Founders Park. The Mother Colony house is one of the oldest homes, built in 1857 by the founder of Anaheim, George Hansen. The Queen Anne-style turreted Woelke-Stoffel was built in 1897 at the height of the Anaheim's citrus era and remains one of the last of its type in the city. Founders Park is so named for the colony that was established in 1857 on the western boundary of Anaheim. (Submitted by Paola Tapia)
