This exotic bird sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted parrots. It's a hidden gem, affordably priced for the entire family. You'll easily spend a couple of hours interacting with the colorful tropical birds and strolling around the grounds. Some of the birds are celebrities; one of the cockatoos had made an appearance in "Barretta." The sanctuary is open Thursday through Tuesday (closed Wednesday) from 11 to 4 but you must schedule your visit online beforehand.
