Description:

A replica of a medieval fortress tower is a solitary figure in Santa Clara County. It was built in 1875 by French-born Paulin Caperon. Since that time the abandoned brick tower has been etched with the names of passersby. Getting there is easy; the tower is right on Old Page Mill Road behind a fence.
