Forever Marilyn Statue

Saves: 76
Check-ins: 76
The 26-foot-tall Marilyn Monroe statue by artist Seward Johnson is now permanently back in Palm Springs after 7 years of touring the world. The giant Marilyn statue originally started out in Chicago, then spent 2012-2014 in Palm Springs before hitting the road and making stops in New Jersey, Bendigo (Australia), and Stamford, CT. Fun note: The Palm Springs Resorts Group bought the controversial statue for $1 million - Zoo-Wee Mama!
