PG&E wanted to do its best to beautify an unsightly power building. They even commissioned artists Joel Jones and Shawn Thorsson to make a utility center into a charming oddity. Although it's not an electrical hazard the company has built a fence around the substation to prevent amateur photographers from getting too close.
