Glacier Point

An incredible spot above Yosemite Valley provides one of the best views of the surrounding rugged mountains. The amazing color of the rocky terrain is due to Half Dome monzonite, a light colored granite material. Find the paved, wheelchair accessible trail from the Glacier Point parking area which will take you the stunning promontory that is over 3,000 feet above the floor of Yosemite Valley.
