Description:

Seals and seal pups, bald eagles, and otters offer visitors a chance to observe the coastal wilderness of Northern California. However, this is where the largest concentration of harbor seals reside. Pupping season for seals is from March to August. Because seals are protected dogs are not allowed on this beach. The NPS website mandates that all visitors stay at least 50 yards away from seals, although it's generally a good idea to observe any wildlife from afar. Entry fee is $8 per vehicle for day use. If you have any other requirements, check the NPS website for more details or call (707) 875-3483.
