Description:

Just off of Old Woman Springs Rd. in Landers, CA is a gorilla art installation known as "Graffiti Rocks." This large pile of boulders once popular with rock climbers is now covered in spray paint (some of it dating back to 2012). This spontaneous gallery is clearly impressive and likely here to stay due to its massive size. However, going forward let's keep our art projects off nature (especially in our national parks). If you'd like to learn more about graffiti removal in Joshua Tree National Park, please contact The Mojave Desert Land Trust.
