You’ve heard of “The Grapes of Wrath”? Meet the Grapes of Play. Designed by sculptors Valerie Salatino and Nancy Moran, this grape-themed play area, formally named “Vinehenge,” includes a slide shaped like a bunch of grapes, a grapevine jungle gym and grape leaf chairs. It’s part of Grape Day Park, and is inspired by the area’s banana industry—jk!—grape industry. Hey, those California raisins gotta come from somewhere.
