Description:

If you're a film buff, you'll love this restaurant set in an iconic So Cal location. The halfway house cafe got its name from its location halfway between Los Angeles and Palmdale. It began as a trading post in 1906. You might recognize it from movies, shows, and commercials such as the 1991 Cindy Crawford Pepsi ad, "The King of Queens," and "Sons of Anarchy." The dishes are tasty too - lots of comfort food favorites such as chicken fried steak, eggs, and hamburgers. Although the Halfway House has seen its share of celebrities and filmmakers, it's a quiet, peaceful place far from the traffic and noise of L.A.
