Helms Bakery District

A pretty and quaint area within the larger setting of Los Angeles has unique stores and independent restaurants. The name is a misnomer nowadays; in the 1930s the family-owned and operated Helms Bakery would deliver fresh-baked bread door to door. Today, it's popular for higher-end home furnishings as well as design showrooms such as Louis Poulson. Visitors highly recommend trying Pasta Sisters restaurant before you leave with its freshly made authentic Italian pasta and desserts.
