The Hippie Temptation House - sounds pretty alluring! It's actually a house that was featured in a 1967 documentary of the same name. Instead of deterring people from joining the hippie movement, the documentary brought floods of people to San Francisco and to Haight-Ashbury in particular. This house, in fact, was the beginning of Haight-Ashbury's reputation as a hippie neighborhood. Today, visitors will find the house to be a lot more square than portrayed in the documentary.
