Description:

A small green area on Santa Monica Blvd. features cactus and other succulents amidst heavy traffic and city life. It's a small part of the larger Beverly Gardens Park which is famous for its "Beverly Hills" sign north of Beverly Dr. On either end of the cactus park is a grove of trees, providing shade on sunny days. The garden was started in the 1930s and has been improved upon over the years. It's free to enter and open 24 hours. (Submitted by Paola Tapia)
