LA’s Oldest Palm Tree

Saves: 38

As well as being the oldest palm in the city, it's probably the most often transported palm as well. The Historic Palm Tree of Los Angeles was first uprooted and moved to San Pedro Street in the 1850s. It was moved a second and a third time, the last being its current location today. Despite the moving, the palm tree has thrived; it has survived for three centuries and is now 100 feet tall.
