Hollenbeck Terrace

A community for senior citizens was once a hospital rumored to be haunted. The Linda Vista Hospital was built in 1905 and continued to operate until its closure in 1991. Rising costs and an increase in violent gun and knife assaults contributed to soaring death rates at the hospital. After its closure it was the subject of paranormal investigation shows such as "Ghost Adventures." It has also been used as a film location for several movies and TV shows, usually of the horror/thriller genre.
