Hoover Walk

In 2009, residents living in the vicinity of this staircase sought to combat graffiti by commissioning artist Ricardo Mendoza to paint a giant mural. It seemed to work; the mural titled "Fluid City Rising" still gleams beautifully bright and unblemished. Hoover Walk is near other urban hike landmarks in the area such as the Griffith Observatory trail, the Mattachine Steps, and the Los Feliz Heights Steps. (Submitted by Mirna Aceituno)
