Humanity vs The Machine Mural

Spray-painted by urban artist Mear One, this mural has a lot to unpack. Overflowing with symbolism and imagery, this work of art was in response to the defeat of Prop 37 which would have required labeling for all genetically engineered foods. The Wood Cafe's owner, Demetrios Mavromichalis, commissioned the mural. (Submitted by Alain Mesropian)
