Description:
An idyllic hiking area next to a river is a great introductory experience to California's Sequoia National Park. With a small parking lot located right off Generals Hwy this is a relaxing place that doesn't require you to spend a lot of time or energy getting to. There is an entry fee and be aware that you might lose cell service here; best to make keep an offline copy of the map and directions before driving out.
