Description:

This is the gateway of the Little Tokyo district of L.A. - a small, bustling bi-level complex with independently operated shops and restaurants. Japanese Village Plaza has been around since 1978, a successful endeavor to beautify a neighborhood that was in decline. You can get authentic sushi and ramen as well as other East Asian delights such as Korean BBQ. There are plenty of street snacks to sample, but leave enough room for the chewy, sweet mochi that Japanese cuisine is famous for.
