Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park

California's glorious Northern Coast is adorned with magnificent redwood forests. This state park preserves old-growth redwoods, many of which are around 500 to 700 years old. This redwood region spans about 10,000 acres, growing along the Smith River where an abundance of steelhead trout thrive.
