Johnny Cash by Shepard Fairey

Urban artist, Shepard Fairey, created his largest California mural = a Johnny Cash portrait in Fairey's own iconic style that spans 15 stories of a Marriott building. The 2018 mural is based on a photo taken Jim Marshall and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1968 album "Live at Folsom Prison." For Fairey it is also a way to introduce more debate regarding the issue of prison reform.
