Palm Springs isn't all desert as you can see when you visit Mount San Jacinto State Park. An aerial tramway, said to be one of the largest rotating tram cars in the world, takes you from the desert to the pine-covered mountaintops. You'll find Johnson Fall at the lower station where you can take a breather on this pleasant platform.
