Kneeling Man With Hammer

The 8-foot high, 4-foot wide sculpture was created in 1992 by Viola Frey. The hard-working giant is hunkered down in front of a trendy shopping area of Pasadena. California-born artist, Viola Frey (1933-2004), was well-known for her richly hued sculptures and paintings of everyday people going about their daily activities. Her artwork can be seen in LACMA, the Met, and the Smithsonian in D.C. (Submitted by Brenda Rios)
