La Jenelle Shipwreck

Built in 1930 as the Borinquen this fashionable cruise ship lived a charmed life - changing names and duties throughout the decades. She ended her career in 1970 when heavy storms and lack of repairs made her float out of the harbor and she was stranded near the breakwater. After the death of a salvage diver, the Navy filled her with rocks and she has been a part of the Port Hueneme breakwater ever since.
