Description:
A unique urban space makes use of a large tidal lagoon in the midst of Oakland. It was also the first official wildlife refuge in the U.S. - designated in 1870. The shoreline is 3 miles long with a paved walking path outlining the perimeter. It's great for relaxing, walking, or watching the diverse bird species.
