Little Tokyo

This little community in downtown LA is 135 years old, but still remains one of the best loved areas to visit, especially for locals. Covering about 5 blocks, it is one of three official "Japan towns" in the USA. It's also a historic landmark, designated in 2005. Museums, bars, dining, and plenty of shopping are only a few of the activities in this abundantly multicultural area. (Submitted by Bowie De La Pena)
